Psychotherapy for Individuals and Couples
Psychotherapy for Individuals and Couples

Therapy begins with making room for what is happening. I want to know your story and support you through whatever you are carrying.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and groups through anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in the belief that our emotions deserve space and attention.
My work draws from somatic psychotherapy, bringing the wisdom and awareness of the body into the healing process. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners understand the patterns beneath their conflict and move toward greater safety, intimacy, and connection.
I am passionate about healing, personal growth, and living more fully, both within ourselves and in relationship. Welcome to my practice.

Sometimes life is hard, and we are pushed beyond what we feel we can handle. Therapy offers support in those places.
Therapy invites you to look at what is happening, your emotions, your patterns, and the ways you have learned to be in the world. First, we make space for what is. Then, together, we begin to see what comes next.
I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Whatever you are struggling with is deserving of support.

My work is grounded in somatic psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an emphasis in Somatic Psychotherapy.
As a somatic psychotherapist, I bring the wisdom and awareness of the body into the healing process. We pay attention not only to thoughts and words, but also to what the body holds and communicates.
As an EFT trained couples therapist, I help couples recognize the patterns that leave them feeling hurt, alone, or disconnected. Emotionally Focused Therapy is rooted in attachment. Together, we slow those patterns down, make space for the emotions beneath them, and help partners reach for each other in new ways.
My couples work is also informed by the Gottman Method, with its focus on recognizing and responding to emotional bids, managing conflict, and finding a way back to connection.

Individual therapy is a place to bring what feels difficult to hold alone. You may be facing a current challenge, carrying experiences from the past, or feeling less hopeful and alive than you want to feel.
Together, we look at what is happening and what may be holding you back. We make room for emotion, deepen your understanding of yourself, and build new resources to support healing and change.
Whether you are new to therapy or continuing a longer process of growth, you do not have to do this work alone.

Couples often come to therapy feeling caught in the same painful conversations. Each person longs to be understood, but neither knows how to reach the other. What looks like anger, criticism, or withdrawal often holds something more vulnerable underneath.
In couples therapy, we slow the cycle down and begin to understand what is happening between you. The goal is not to decide who is right, but to help each partner feel seen, heard, and able to reach for the other in a new way.
Whether you are experiencing significant distress or want to deepen a relationship that is already strong, therapy can help you find your way back to greater safety, intimacy, and connection.

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity for support and connection. It is a place to explore how you show up in relationships and notice the patterns that shape closeness and intimacy.
In a supported space, members are invited to bring authenticity and vulnerability, engage with feedback, and practice new ways of relating. Group can be a powerful addition to individual or couples therapy.
Group therapy is offered periodically throughout the year in ten week rounds. If you are interested, please reach out to learn about upcoming groups and whether group therapy may be a good fit for you.
